Ella's story
Ella was born sometime around the middle to end of May. She is a sweet young pit bull terrier mix, looking for a new home. Sweet Ella has been recently diagnosed with some type of seizure disorder. We are currently investigating what is going on and what is causing them but have ruled out the most likely causes. She is very mild mannered and not aggressive at all toward anyone or anything. Ella loves snuggling and people in general and would love to wiggle her way into your heart and home. She gets along well with both the resident dog and cat that she has been with thus far. She is a very loved little girl but her owners want to make sure she can live her best life and are hoping for a loving, caring, patient home for this little lady. Ella is currently working on potty training but she is not quite there yet. We believe that with positive reinforcement and consistent training, Ella will have it down in no time!
The suggested adoption donation for Ella is $450, which is TAX
DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in
the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue. If you would
like to welcome Ella into your home, please begin by submitting our Adoption
Application. The adoptions for all of our dogs will take place in the Omaha,
NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship

Before applying to adopt Ella, you need to be familiar with your local breed
specific legislation regarding Pit Bulls. Applicants must live within 50 miles of
the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.
Since Ella may be too small to be altered at the time of adoption, the
adopters will be provided with a voucher to have the puppy altered
by the time he is 6 months of age. This must be done at
Nebraska Humane Society. If you prefer to take the puppy to your own vet,
we will pay a PORTION of the cost ($65) to your vet of choice.
